3rd quarter grades

This week marks the end of the 3rd quarter. .75 of the school year is done! For 7th graders, Wednesday is the last day for missing work. The 8th graders have until Thursday to turn in late work. Work for this term will not be accepted after the respective final due date.
If you student is missing quizzes, they can make them up before school on Wednesday, lunchtime Wednesday and after school Wednesday. Arrangements can be made for Thursday, as well.

Words on the Vine: Bi and Du

This week 7th grade is studying the roots "bi" and "du". Last week we did our first reading of The Veldt" and the kids ate it up (pun intended). This week we will dive deeper into the story and begin preparations to write a Response to Literature essay on the story when we return from break.

Words on the Vine: Uni and Mono

This week's WOTV focus are the roots "uni" and "mono" which mean "one". The quiz is on Friday and I will be checking homework daily from Tuesday. On Tuesday I will check for three-column notes completion as well as page 1. Wednesday I check pages 2 and 3, and Thursday page 4. The Keynote is here, and someone made online flashcards here.
